Follow up on the forest map for Untitled RPG. Decided to add a little more character and style to the maze than some simple trees/bushes randomly scattered throughout for the player to navigate around. On one hand, it means the map never changes. On the other hand, it looks a lot better. #pico8

Finally working on additional maps for Untitled RPG and hammering out a plot for the game. One of the first places you'll have to navigate is this forest to reach the cave where the "Wand of Revelation" is hidden. There will be enemies, and the length will be longer than what is seen here.

I give up on procedurally generated maps. This shit is so over my head. I wish I could find a tutorial that really breaks it down into simple terms but the only ones I find are in languages or for engines I don't know or use. I'm gonna have to stick with static maps and pre-rendered mazes.
