I've (*very* intermittently) worked on a series of "Kaiju in Austin" prints for a few years now. I think I have two more in me but this is an older one: The Kraken (1981 Harryhausen version) emerging from Town Lake. And no, it's not deep enough for that 🙃

Sister Rosetta Tharpe, the incredible and underappreciated godmother of rock n roll. This is a #linocut print with faux gold gilding. I think I printed it before switching to a ballbearing baren -- if you haven't tried using one, you're missing out. Also, here's a #printmaking for good measure 🙃

"Janus," after the two-faced Roman god. The body is carved and dyed maple, sandwiching an LED strip. No clue why I made it! And hello new folks -- thank you for following my silly account! I make linocut prints but #woodworking is another interest of mine, so you might see more of this too.

A #linocut print from a year ago: my response to a prompt on a small-but-delightful Discord asking for artwork of monsters in ads. I went for a mid-century magazine look, so it had to be for Morley cigarettes and feature an Eames lounge. And just to be clear: smoking kills. Don't do it.
