I’ll save you the time ‘we are providing care and comfort to the people involved and it snowed so much the conditions were poor and out of our control’ this isn’t an update it’s a preemptive defence to forthcoming lawsuits. Shame.

When we don’t allow boys to feel their emotions, they grow up into men who still get off on playing with toys. Expensive cars, rocket ships, and misiles. What we are seeing in Washington is what happens to emotionally stunted men, they turn into cruel, arrogant, entitled pissy babies.

My biggest fear right now is that we are the frogs in the water which is slowly coming to a boil. Incrementally dismantling democracy takes time and I worry that by the time we realize that this is NOT a simulation it’ll be too late to organize. I don’t want to be a boiled frog.

Social media will cause the next great extinction event. We previously benefited from separation as it helped us maintain some healthy ignorance. Connecting us exposed our differences and pitted us against eachother. SM also delivered the propaganda and fear mongoring that will inspire horrors.

Poking around the @bsky.app feels like being in a room with adults for a change. It’s nice to see meaningful informed content and very little nonsense. Also seems to skew ‘nerdy intellectual’ which is rad bc I always loved learning from people smarter than me. Now..how do I work this thing 😂🤔

Was just reflecting on how the dumb dumbs of America ushered in this political mess. In grade school our teachers often told us to ‘check your work’ with the idea being; go back and look at the problem to make sure you got the right answer. I wish the dumb dumbs knew enough to check their work.

Unpopular opinion: the short term of the trade war launched by the US against Canada will be rough for Canadians, but Canada will emerge stronger. We’ve been too reliant on the US; time to find new and better friends. Strengthen the EU or turn to Asia and South America. It’s a big world.

I think it is a world domination war move by Trump. Tariffs will hurt the Canadian economy which will reduce Canadian defense spending. Trump seeks to increase his military $. He’s also eyeing Greenland which is ONLY helpful from a military standpoint. The next Great War looms.
