So today’s stupidity was me grabbing the hot end of a short rod. This wasn’t the first time but it was the worst. My thumb just looks shiny, but my middle finger (don’t ask why I grabbed with that finger) may develop a good sized blister. I had to be vague because I hadn’t told hubby yet. Blargh. 😫

Friday I had a hot date for Valentine’s Day so no torching. Saturday we ran errands so no torching. Sunday was a bad storm so no torching. Today I made dichro stringer, melted together short ends, made 14 white spacer beads and a wedding cake bead, and the studio’s power went out so no torching. 🤦🏻‍♀️

We have something new and I need your opinion. Recently we ordered aqua glow in the dark powder to add to beads. 💡 What would you want to see it on? Swirled into a coin shape? Made into a stringer to lay in a zig zag pattern? Ummm… I’m out of ideas? 🤣 This is going to get all over everything. 😳

Ugh, tired of people bitching on FB they didn’t get 10” of snow. That was the extreme upper limit forecast. I got 5”, which was within the forecast.

Random thoughts: it’s snowing so I’m wide awake. In bed. Nowhere near a window. But I know it’s snowing and it’s so exciting!! Also I’m not going anywhere today, which means yesterday’s beads are just sitting in the kiln not to be seen until tomorrow. Back to today… I plan to do a bunch of piled 1/?

Oh! Hey! I forgot to post these here! Another thing I did yesterday after cleaning beads was make them into earrings. The first two pics show both sides of one pair of earrings. They’re all available for purchase if anyone wants something.

Yesterday I stayed home in the morning to clean beads and only got 5-6 hours torching time. Today I have a noon appointment, so I won’t get in until maaayyybe 2 at the earliest. Tomorrow will be an early day, but Thursday is a no-go since we’re supposed to have a half inch of ice on everything.

I worked all afternoon (cleaned beads all morning) and came home to Hubby making dinner. Top sirloin steak (so big he cut it in half), cheesy broccoli, corn on the cob, and creamed red baby potatoes (skins on). Delish! #blueskysupperclub
