I write comics and RPGs, I review RPGs for Who Dares Rolls and talk about Star Trek in the Casual Trek podcast. I like sharks and the X-Men, especially Cyclops. He/Him #CasualTrek #StarTrek #DailyXMen

I think the thing that freaks me out the most about folks replacing traditional web searches with AI is that when it is wrong, it is so god damn CONFIDENTLY wrong. And in theory your dumb ass is looking online because you DON'T know any fucking better enough to tell.

We’re in Alexandria tonight in Arkham Horror at the Dice Saloon!

Next up in my tour de force of THUNDER CHILD covers is this burning terror from @lyndondraws.bsky.social. Easily one of our more popular covers - this became known as the 'City on Fire' cover. kck.st/4kHvrMl

I've reviewed Stamp Swap, a fun game from Stonemaier Games about picking up and trading stamps at a convention. A beautiful game with a brilliantly mundane theme. whodaresrolls.com/stamp-swap/

I’ve finally published my last UK Games Expo convention diary, and my top five non-game things I encountered there. whodaresrolls.com/uk-games-exp... #UKGE2025

Betrayal at the Bermuda Triangle is fine, I guess. One highlight is that Logan slam dunks Dr Doom’s spell into the villain’s mouth. #DailyXMen

happy #deathstranding2 day!

It begins…

If you, like me, have been gritting your teeth through the endless useless AI "features" in Adobe Acrobat, I just found out that there's a preference to turn them off! helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/usin...

I’m getting ready to be really annoying about Death Stranding 2.

Movie I’ve watched more than six times using gifs (hard mode, no STAR WARS, STAR TREK, or LORD OF THE RINGS)

I designed some graphics with the Molotov College characters (illustrations by @sweetcyanide.bsky.social). Which one should I print as stickers? 🤔

Literally this ⬇️

WHY DOES IT HAVE HANDS

Who’s up for some trash? On Casual Trek, we’ve had it too good, so we’re looking at the “Mystical pregnancy” trope in three episodes of Star Trek! #StarTrek #TrekSky open.spotify.com/episode/4qqx...

living through 2025 and having to wake up, go to work, handle responsibilities etc feels like this

Happy Free RPG Day! Here’s my contribution, enjoy! #freeRPGday

It’s Free RPG Day and while my most recent piece of RPG work costs money, you can always pick up my Blades in the Dark heist set during a murder mystery for whatever you want… even nothing! skyshark.itch.io/blades-out #FreeRPGDay

The Cryptid Creeks #ttrpg will be available for free from June 21st for Free RPG Day. Head to our itch.io account from midnight Saturday to grab a copy of our Carved from Brindlewood game! #FreeRPGDay #FreeRPGDay2025

Okay fine this whole crossover malarkey was worth it

I’ve only just realised that Kenneth the Page played Badgey in Star Trek: Lower Decks. That makes a terrifying amount of sense.

Do you want to be the sweet superhero who lets out the monster from time to time? Do you want to be the flop adult no one expected you to be? I've made a playbook for Molotov College by @wharthur.bsky.social based on The New Mutants' Wolfsbane! skyshark.itch.io/the-devil

My #DailyXMen marathon has reached X-Men: Giant-Size. Not Giant-Size X-Men or Giant-Size X-Men. This one has The Neo in it.

After delaying our Naked Now/Naked Time duology for Casual Trek Episode 69, we’re having another Jeffrey Combs episode. He’s always such a delight.

If a colleague had the reliability rate of an LLM, they would be fired. If ordinary* software did, it would be uninstalled. LLMs require the chat format, because chat makes us party to the conversation. We insert the meaning ourselves - and hold it to a different standard. It's the mirror effect.

I know he's irritable what with the hormones and having been mpregged, but Trip is 100% right that this is a safety hazard.

I'm editing Casual Trek and I got way too fixated on the idea of a roving Starfleet officer going from ship to ship with a litter of puppies and how that's a job in Star Trek.

Women are lagging behind on going bankrupt on DraftKings, drinking themselves to death, and fist-fighting anyone who looks at them funny on the subway but they can catch up.
