I've never used it but Parsley Box sounds like it might be what you're after?

I'm sorry. That's such a horrible situation when you can't visit. It really is awful that people should have to fear going into hospital because they might get even more unwell. Wishing your dad well.

Exactly what I thought too. It can vary so much, so I wouldn't want to be tested on a very blurry day. Thank you π

That's true! Thank you for the link, I'll give that a read. Yes that's the case with me too, the blurriness comes and goes.

Thanks for the reply. That makes sense about the eye muscles. Yes I thought the same about the flashes but the optician couldn't see any problems.

It does, I like what I've seen of it so far.

You are lucky to have that view, it looks beautiful and very peaceful!
Right?! It's so nice to connect with others on here π M.E life can be very isolating so it's good to have an online community.

Nice to meet you, Michael! I notice you were diagnosed around the same time as me. Sending best wishes to you too π What a lovely view you have from your home!

Hello Hannah! π

When I was diagnosed with M.E in my teens, a doctor suggested I do an activity like Horse riding - I thought that was absurd enough but a surf course abroad is even more ridiculous. I don't know what goes on in the minds of some of these doctors!

I know that feeling. Good luck, I hope they take it as seriously as it should be taken. Ridiculous we even have to worry about this.

Hamper (build your own ones tend to work out cheaper)
Fleece throws always come in handy.
If she has a garden then I second what Paula said about the solar lights.
