This really made me smile ☺️

I really like this album (Epcot Starfields by Windmill) but I LOVE this cover. Makes me emotional.

What’s an album where the cover is better than the music?

Reading The Enchanted April by Elizabeth von Arnim and I’m obsessed. It’s such good social observation, so witty and sharp. Highly recommend for fans of Katherine Mansfield, Winifred Holtby, early Woolf.

AT LAST

I will never stop being mad about how the media has treated the anti-trans movement as a group of ordinary people with legitimate concerns rather than the obvious frothing bigots they are.

I’ve had to pay £600 a month more on my mortgage for a year her smug face makes me so sick

God I love this.

At the start of every day you should be able to select “Story Mode” or “Quick Battle”

Completely agree. Would we have gotten the joy that is Doublemeat Palace if Buffy was 6 eps a season? NO.

Almost brought a tear to my eye I miss it so much. I don’t want the stupid new ones with options to leave the house I just want this one!

Don’t worry BBC I wouldn’t know how to illustrate mist with an icon either.

Omg there’s an episode of #Monk with #Korn in and he tells them he plays clarinet and honestly the whole thing is great 🥰

ME, SOBBING: Please, Emily, you can't give all your 100 characters the same 4 names EMILY BRONTE: *points* That's Earnshaw Linton. *points* That's Cathy Heathcliff. *points* Heathcliff Linton. *points* Cathy Cathy. *points* Earnshaw Cathy Jr. *pause* And they're all GHOSTS.

Cop fetish. Which feels extreeeemely unlikely.

!

Honestly this and the nun were 2 of my favourite moments of tv in years. As if the Guardian only gave this 4 stars! Feathers is an icon.

I really love Agatha Christie writing about dogs.

Merry Christmas from the unseasonably warm British seaside 🌧️

A reminder that you can do whatever you want today and lots of places are open to get takeaways! Some of our best Christmases have been takeaway curries and LOTR marathon watches.

I’ve made a running playlist that is just music from Katamari soundtracks because it helps me to pretend I’m gleefully rolling up the world into a beautiful ball and not lurching down the Hook Road like my feet are made of lead.

You'll be visited by three spirits." The three spirits:

Had amazing Spanish picky tea for dinner (tapas)

Fuck it, it's Christmas. 90% off our digital discography, today only. Knock yourselves out, you maniacs! bluetapes.bandcamp.com

She should get money from the license fee for this public service

Lots of epistemological food for thought in Hot Frosty. He doesn't know about cancer or eggnog but recoils from Nosferatu on the telly and makes the sign of the cross.

We do what muh fuck we want??

I’m watching Monk for the first time (on S3) and I didn’t expect it to be so touching. Monk nearly getting his badge back then finding his anxiety is too extreme for him to pass the test; his support for Stottlemeyer when his wife is in hospital - honestly lovely stuff.

Lots of Blue Tapes stuff reviewed in the latest @thewiremagazine.bsky.social They even liked some of it! 🙂 To give GUE, Greg Davis and Other Light Ensemble a listen to decide for yourselves go to bluetapes.bandcamp.com

If I wanted to read a fantasy book in the vein of Lud-in-the-Mist what would you recommend? #booksky

All pleasures are guilty pleasures if you have high enough anxiety

Anyone else use their boobs as a shelf for their cup of tea? Just saw myself on a work call and realised it looks quite weird.

I am always saying this! I love a long book that allows me to really feel like I’m living in that world, and I wholeheartedly believe films should be under 90 minutes. No, it does not make sense and no, I will not take questions.
