The drip, drip, drip erosion of rights, democracy, and freedom by the Trump regime is monstrous. I sometimes think, not my president, but also, not my country. When the government is nullifying due process, limiting freedom of choice, religion, and speech, what remains of the United States?

Trump may have gotten the El Salvadoran President Bukele to cooperate with Trump’s kidnappings and imprisonments in part by offering him people like Kilmar Abrego Garcia. Abrego Garcia is Salvadoran and received U.S. asylum because it was deemed too dangerous for him to go back.

Among other things, the Trump tariffs will cause economic distress globally. This could easily lead to war, which may even be what this administration wants. China is poised to do well economically and militarily in another world war. What about the U.S.? Ugh. I’m anxious, and oh so tired.
