I used to be a streamer (wasn't very good), have also spent the last 20 years on the railway (must be doing something right) and all but a full-time unpaid carer (because I work). These 37 hour Centurion days are amazing for time management.

Should I laugh about this advert?

We are currently rotating a first aid kit for an 86 year old with dementia. The box was fairly new, about 10 years old.... the contents:

I finally said enough. An old Linux box has been taken apart: * Core2Duo CPU * MSI 750Ti GPU * An ASUS AM3+ Mobo * 32GB Corsair DDR3 RAM It was getting a bit noisy, and slow.

At Christmas I went out and get myself a Pi5 with a NVMe hat and associated peripherals. I installed headless Pi OS on it with loads of ideas. How many have I actually achieved? Two out of lots. OMV and QBitTorrent.... Bah! I have so many ideas and such lack of execution.

I admitted defeat! I am back to relying on the paper-based version of our work-bible. Yes, I am paying for it out of my own pocket at each update.

Long shot question. I am looking for a cheap TV 32 to 40 inch, which has **NO** sleep, auto shut off, or anything. Despite this Samsung having every option off, it still turns off after two hours... even with Anynet+ disabled. It's for someone with dementia. Just want to turn on and leave on.

You know what, I have my most extravagant ideas when I am asleep. You know, the ideas like a blog that would only really be achievable in any scale if I had dozens of writers or really good AI skills. Yes, the ideas that I have neither the skills or funds to achieve.

I just spotted my unintentional and embarrassing spelling mistake. How IT becomes U - I will never know.

Bah! I love a baptism by fire, but trying to set up my new Raspberry Pi5 has been more complex than I thought! I am glad I set up a PKM system to document what I am doing so I can unwind some of it!

A shame to see such a determined advocate for rights to leave. Let's hope his successor will do just as well.

I really, really have to break the habit of spending more time on X than BlueSky.

I think my 2025 Resolution should be to fully transition from X to here. Every time I go on there (I go on less now) I just get more and more annoyed at idiocy and a failure to do basic research.

What rod did I make for my own back. Every Christmas and End of Year; I go out and get 'special chocolates' for the primary class teacher. I think for the Summer, I might have to go Brussels at this rate as I have done most of Selfrigdes food hall, and Fortnums.....

Meh! It's the trip to Central London today for a 'non-periodic' medical. As I am on weight loss injections, they want to monitor me. [Yes I am paying for them myself, it's not paid for by the NHS or company]

Come on cat, you can not tell me that is comfortable.....

Sorry this will sound like an unfair rant. Adult Social Services three weeks ago: oh yes, we will set up in home dementia care and [dementia patient] should be able to go home in two to three weeks. Adult Social Services to me today: we have now requested funding, then will find care team.

I enjoy the occasional joyride on the Island. I usually end up in the Newport Ale House though.

Bah! Why can't you have two BlueSky accounts on the same device?

Oh good God.

I have this royally throbbing nasal migraine and sore throat. No idea what bug I have picked up, but it can bugger off now.
