Remember when the Mavericks traded Luka Doncic

Finally got around to opening up my Valentine’s Day candy — what in the gods name of shrinkflation is this?!?!

All the IRS agents in Ogden, Civil Service on Hill AFB, National Park Rangers down in Zions laid off — the academics at Utah public universities or Huntsman Cancer Institute with slashed budgets due to dried up grant money… Cox views you as just “bumps along the road” — just unbelievably tone deaf

A pair of brightly colored vans I’ve recently come across in Salt Lake City.

The curse is real.

If they can build apartments in Federal Heights, they should be able to build apartments in any neighborhood in Salt Lake City. #Zoning

SB195 with a target squarely on SLC and the safety of city streets.

Aerial shot of the two golden domes atop Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church in Salt Lake City.

Aerial view of the I-15 on/off-ramp mess at 1300 South in Salt Lake City — the worst in the city, in my opinion! #iykyk

Overhead photos of Salt Lake City’s main branch library’s rooftop terrace. It was recently repaired/renovated — cool to see how it turned out after a few years of being closed for construction!

Looking at the bins/containers of scrap stored at Salt Lake City’s Standard Iron and Metal shop (Also was able to catch a small slice of all the RVs outside Clay’s RVs.) Anyways — thought it made for a good photo showcasing how even the mundane looks interesting from above. #perspective

Take. The. Microphone. From. Draymond. Green. He is awful — why is he on television?!

Average Federal Heights resident in Salt Lake City… (I kid, I kid — probably more applicable to the Country Club neighborhood, home to SLC’s reddest precincts)

A happy little surprise still present on this adaptive reuse project near 9th and 9th. They buffed out most of the graffiti on the brick — but the smiley face from a previous “ZOOT” remains.

Maybe “Witchin’” was taken…?

Friendly reminder that had the Dems/Independents decided to join forces and not ran two candidates last election, Todd Weiler most likely would not be a state senator right now. Then only one vote would have been needed to flip in order to tank the anti-union bill.

I mean — we are *barely* halfway through the session; there was still plenty of time to reach a compromise had the legislature not thrown a tissy fit and rushed through passage of the terrible OG bill…

Happy Valentine’s Day! — courtesy of this private sculpture garden at a residence in the Federal Heights neighborhood in Salt Lake City.

I refuse to believe these people are this obtuse. Talk to any young parent and the reasons we “stopped having babies” becomes painfully obvious: childcare and housing costs! That’s it! It’s not rocket science!

One of the more interesting vote distributions I’ve seen in quite some time.

The Utah legislature always seems to find a way to get money to billionaires (re: Ryan Smith) but can never find a path forward or alternative approach for feeding hungry kids.

Finally.
