just switched to duckduckgo for all my browsing and its fabulous so far- i dont notice anything much different from safari or google, other than that it doesnt sell my data, opens non-smartphone formatted webpages better, and warns me about tracking on certain pages. im impressed lol

my refurbished mac came in the mail yesterday. i haven’t had a functioning computer in a couple years as my 2010 pro was rendered obsolete by OS updates etc. this one is a 2020! :) feeling grateful for grant opportunities and recycled tech!

After a near strike by Philly area transit workers, PA Gov. Shapiro has secured an additional $153 million from federal highway funds for public transportation. These funds avoid a nearly 30% fare hike. Instead a 7.5% fare increase for SEPTA riders will go into effect on Dec. 1.
