Our military is not the personal army of the President, and senior military officers serve our country not one man. This is very alarming.

Just so everybody is clear on Republican priorities: We put up an amendment to make sure nobody making over $500 million gets a tax cut. Republicans voted against it.

Senate Republicans once again showed us their true colors last night. They want to pay for tax breaks for their rich corporate friends by defunding your Medicaid and Medicare. Unreal.

It's nearly 5am and Republicans just rammed through their pro-billionaire, anti-middle class budget blueprint. In order to pass massive tax giveaways for billionaires, they're going to defund Medicaid, slash veterans benefits, & force kids to go hungry. Make sure everyone knows it.

Any Republicans want to grow a spine and stand up to this with us? Many of you represent rural areas who will suffer the most from this!

This is stupid, dangerous, and illegal. www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...

Giving tax cuts to the wealthiest while gutting programs families rely on—that’s the Republican plan. Democrats just tried to pass an amendment that would prevent a tax cut for those earning more than one billion dollars. Senate Republicans blocked it.

Bottom line: Abortion bans are cruel. And women in this country are being harmed by them every day.   Denying women life-saving care shouldn't happen - and yes, abortions can be life-saving care.

Republicans are trying to pass a measure in the dark of night to screw over working people so they can send a bunch of tax cuts to billionaires and big corporations. We won’t let them do it without a fight.

Trump and Musk have fired Minnesotans like: -- Park Rangers at Voyageurs -- Fire protection engineers -- Workers who care for our veterans -- Workers who care for folks with disabilities -- Workers who dole out small business loans How does this help anyone?

He said he wasn't going to meddle with American's health care and now he's (unsurprisingly) going back on his word. Making it harder to see your doctor and pay your medical bills so he can give a massive tax break to billionaires and corporations. That’s what this is about.

I stand with National Parks Service staff like Kate, a Minnesotan who was fired by Trump and Musk from her job as Park Ranger at Voyageurs National Park.

Can’t post my Instagram videos on Bluesky because of their 60s time limit, but I thought I’d just share this short outtake. I love my job, and these hard fights are worth having… but man are they hard.

Minnesota student just told me that her dad, who has worked for a Minnesota VA hospital for nearly a decade, recently got a new job within the agency. They listed him as “probationary” and he was just fired by Elon Musk and Donald Trump.

People don’t give a shit if it's one or two bills. They care that Republicans are hellbent on cutting the *$6 per day* families get in nutrition assistance and the Medicaid benefits millions of working families rely on to see a doctor. And for what? To pay for more tax cuts for giant corporations.

The American people don't care if it's one bill or two. They care that both versions have the same goal: Cutting their benefits while billionaire corporations make a(nother) fortune from their tax cuts.

I just voted NO to advance Senate Republican's pro-billionaire, anti-middle class budget blueprint. They want to let Elon cut $1 trillion this year alone—those cuts are coming out of SNAP, Medicaid, VA benefits, & more. Money out of YOUR pocket so BILLIONAIRES get more tax breaks.

Welcome home, Leonard. It’s been a long time coming.

Republicans are racing forward with a budget that will raise costs for working families. People will pay more for food, health care, education, and child care – while Republicans plot more tax cuts for billionaires.

Good riddance. But remember that Trump’s goal is to privatize the Postal Service, DeJoy or not. When your mail is late or missing, it’s their fault.

Just got this email from a Minnesota producer. These freezes hurt real people, including our farmers. Republicans need to stand up to Musk, but they won't - they want to see all this money vacuumed up so they can give it to big corporations in the form of tax breaks.

My staff and I are closely monitoring this situation and gathering information. Thank you to all the emergency response teams helping. My thoughts are with everyone on board and their loved ones.

Despicable beyond words. Heartbroken for this Minnesotan and our LGBTQ+ friends and neighbors seeing news of this disturbing violence.

This was one of RFK Jr.’s first orders after being sworn in. Just an astonishing denial of science and will cause so much pain to the 45 million Americans facing mental health challenges.

It's been a day. On my way home Minnesota.

Crazy day — thanks for the pizza @blumenthal.senate.gov 🍕

I wanted you to hear directly from me that I have decided not to run for reelection to the Senate in 2026. I have loved my job, and after 20 years of hard and rewarding work in the public sector, I'm ready to spend more time with my family. I want to take some time here to explain my decision (🧵)

Just heard from a Minnesota farmer who fronted her own money for some conservation work because USDA had a contractual agreement to reimburse her. Musk’s freeze means she’s out that money and USDA is refusing to reimburse.

Tax cuts for billionaires won’t boost wages. Tax cuts for billionaires won’t make housing cheaper. Tax cuts for billionaires won’t make health care cheaper. Tax cuts for billionaires won’t make groceries cheaper. Tax cuts for billionaires will not help us or our families.

Families will go hungry and sick people will forego care. All so they can line the pockets of billionaires and big corporations with money from tax cuts. That’s their game plan.

We understand that big concentrations of wealth and power in this country hurt us and help billionaires like Elon Musk and his friends. They like it that way and use chaos/misinformation to distract us from their end game: Giant tax breaks for big corporations and billionaires. Follow the money.

Just confirmed with the University of St. Thomas that funding to train more special education teachers was *cancelled* because of Trump’s cuts. Why? Because Republicans are vacuuming up every dollar they can for massive corporate tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy. They don’t care who gets screwed.

BREAKING: In response to our motion, the court has required CDC, FDA, and HHS to immediately restore critical health info and data that the Trump administration ordered the agencies to remove. This is a huge win for doctors, researchers, and patients.

Just inconceivable amounts of recklessness. There’s now nobody at USAID to make sure our aid doesn’t go to terrorist groups. And the only reason we know this is thanks to an Inspector General – one Trump hasn’t fired yet.

You wouldn't dismantle the agency that protects consumers for corporate abuse and scams unless you wanted your rich buddies to be able to abuse and scam consumers.
