In honor of Vis leaving today I have a story for the #fabtcg world. At a calling somebody I know decided last minute he wasn't going to play. He went to Starbucks instead. He realized that they never dropped him from the event, so just clicked "I won" and went about his day (1/2)

#fabtcg armory update. 2-0 drop tonight (started to not feel well). R1 win against hatches Dori R2 win against vis. Got some lucky hands in each game to get and keep tempo. Vis game I was down to 1 and likely should have lost.

2-2 today at the GSC #fabtcg RTN event on Azalea. R11 loss to kayo who just went wide and big and I couldn't find red in the ledgers fast enough R2 win against CYB bravo R3 loss to a riptide and multiple trap pings. R4 win against Dawnblade Dori. Dropped after round 4 as I was out of top 8

In #fabtcg there are two truths that exist. 1) you will forget your tunic counter if you go first on turn 0. 2) the assassin and/or waifu tax on cards is real. Do not pay $70 for this card. It is not a $70 card.

I have an RTN this weekend and I've never been so torn on what to play. Fang, Dori, some assassin, etc. God help me if somebody shows me a good azalea list. I may walk in with multiple decks and make my round 1 opponent blind pick who I play.

Just played @blackwingstudio.ascent-gaming.com Fang deck for the first time. I don't know how you turned Fai into a warrior Mara but I like it and hate myself for liking it as a warrior player.

Just realized that the #fabtcg set 16 release is 9 hours before the CC US nationals event. How are folks supposed to get what they need for nationals in time? It gives a potential huge advantage to players who are on teams or sponsored by entities with access to loan out those cards there. Oof

I need to summon the spirit of @josh-tcgz.bsky.social to talk me out of playing Fang at my RTN this weekend. I'm sitting at a sub 50% WR with him but when I win with fang the matches feel insane that it feels like winning 10 matches. He's so much fun, but I need saved from myself. #fabtcg.

It's release day for #fabtcg the hunted and I just placed my order for singles from my LGS and officially have everything I want for The hunted and my RTN deck. So nice to be done and not stress literally hours after release.

Greentree sports cards orders pizza for every armory and #fabtcg event. But at this prerelease the pizza shop also delivered 4 dozen wings that another customer ordered by mistake and didn't want. The amount of people yelling "you better not shuffle my deck with your wing hands!" was great.

Prerelease recap (my haul pictures below). Forced fang in both. First Prerelease went 2-1 only losing to @poopy03d.bsky.social on Cindra. Prerelease 2 went 2-1 losing to another cindra. Fang is fun as hell to play.
