Just got out of jail. Only forty four left to go to catch John Lewis’s record. Remember - peaceful civil disobedience. Don’t comply in advance.

First nuclear weapons management, now this. No one - Democrat or Republican - voted for this kind of incompetence.

We kept pausing to see the crowd. It was amazing.

Making my way through The Americans for the first time. Yes, yes, we all want the bottle episode where they’re at the wig store all day, but also I want a full travel agency episode. I need to hear Keri Russell say “Epcot”

The Washpost, which is bleeding millions of dollars and shrinking its staff, accepted -- and then rejected -- a $115,000 ad that criticized Elon Musk. Anyway, here's the ad that the Post's business side didn't want its readers to see ⤵️ thehill.com/media/514849...

Removing Transgender from the Stonewall monument? Sacrilege. Shame.

Always!

My spur of the moment trip to NY coincided with Urinetown at NY City Center opening. I celebrated the Super Bowl the way a pinko commie homosexual does. Seeing a revival of an obscure musical.

Don't say no one is fighting. People are pushing back. There's still more to do but we are not rolling over. 👇

The Dems gotta stop acting like Lisa Simpson at the beginning of the episode and start acting like Lisa Simpson right before the second ad break.

Is there a word for when a bunch of private citizens following orders from an unelected billionaire occupy government buildings and cut off communications

My first and definitely last time working with the Los Angeles Times. Editing out the most urgent point of an OpEd in the minutes before sending to press while then also assigning a title and image that suggest an argument entirely opposite to the author’s clear intent is pretty shitty.

Fake ass Catholic, creepy neo fundamentalist, get outta my parish. bsky.app/profile/mich...

I signed. I hate to give up my daily Cinematrix, but I will if I have to!

I was really happy with my Cinematrix today. Not because of my really low percentages, I've had lower. I just was replaying Laura Linney's performances in Congo, Dave, and The House of Mirth. What a weird collection of movies. Thank you @joereid.bsky.social

a critical thing here is that wapo/nyt subscription numbers are down *because people see them as Vichy media*

Dems can: -oppose all Trump nominees until this EO is withdrawn -deny unanimous consent to slow senate proceedings -vote no on all cloture -force quorum calls at every chance It’s a constitutional crisis. There is absolutely no reason the Senate should be connecting business as usual.

You better believe I called my senator about this today. And his confirmation votes! What was he thinking Kristi Noem? RFK Jr better not get his vote next. 🤦‍♂️

One thing about me is that I will fight Nazis until I’m six feet in the ground.

The thing that is bringing me joy this week is #Younger Thanks @netflix.com and especially Sutton Foster.

Helpful!

"Hope is like the Sun - If you only believe in it when you can see it, you'll never make it through the night."

Wow, I can’t imagine why?

This is the GOP’s long con on full display.

We all have to make these decisions. I gave away my Orson Scott Card books. I had signed copies from book tours. I reread them and loved them. His attitude towards the LGBTQ community (literally on the board of NOM) was antithetical to my life.

Sorry, but I really hope people who love THE WILD ROBOT movie know it was inspired by my book. It's mentioned in the credits but most people don't read that stuff. If you love the movie you should check out the book! There's more to the story and it's a quick read.

I want to remind everyone that your local library is both physical AND digital. You hate streaming everything because the price is ridiculous? Library. You hate ads because they're every 3 mins or less? Library. You want to reduce your digital footprint? Library. You want sourced info? Library.
