When you have to deal with a parent who has an undiagnosed problem with hoarding. There are issues (both mental and physical) that are beneath the surface that make it SO hard to get any legway in clearing out ‘stuff’. Mentally knackering for all parties involved :(

Ramping my excitement up slowly in readiness for the next series. Finally finished my birthday present from a few years back. My god!!! I forgot how much fun Lego was. Those 5hrs flew by!!!!

Aaaaand it’s ended. All 6 seasons of the expanse in just over a month! It was a journey of stellar proportions. Loved it but I did feel the end was rushed a bit. That being said, it was a proper love story (and Amos had an epic beard. Even Leonidis would be jealous!)

Things that have happened since I’ve deleted FB, IG and Threads: 1) no more doomscrolling when I wake up, through the day or when I go to bed 2) headaches are fewer 3) anger/frustration levels are down 4) I’m able to focus more on the here and now 5) I’ve managed to binge SO much of the The Expanse

My youngest introduced me to #kikuo #vocaloid and we attended his gig at Outernet in London. Definitely an energy infused 90mins and I can easily compare the atmosphere to the dopamine effect that late 80s raves gave you. Epic night and so many lovely people!

Wknd is nearly here. Ep.4 of the expanse completed. Dry January is in the bin and off to bed. Will be online tomoz looking for somewhere to pitch up for a night or so in the family tent. Feeling the need to just lie outside and lose myself in the stars, weather permitting obvs :)

We so need an additional month - split January into 2. Use the first half as a ‘filler’ for aspirational resolution creations for the year. A honeymoon month if you will (fluffuary?). Then the second half is back to reality. Also would be be good to get half my salary too as it’s painful waiting!!!
