We're still not sure about the severity of Matthew Tkachuk's injury, but I could see the fact he was trying to play through something significant being a problem. Something tells me NHL teams are going to put a stop to that and be more involved in future best-on-bests.

Canada couldn't generate anything in the 3rd. It sounds crazy to say with a team that has Crosby, McDavid & MacKinnon, but you wonder if their roster might lack a little offense down the lineup. Would've been nice to have a Scheifele or Robert Thomas to throw over the boards.

Not sure why both Tkachuks fought in the opening seconds. They could've imposed their will much better by taking the body, getting in on the forecheck, crashing the net, etc. Really thought them sitting for the first 5 minutes allowed Canada to settle in and find their footing.
