It was truly a privilege to participate in the preparation of this analysis of current threats to Canada’s sovereignty by the Trump regime, and what they mean in international law. Thank you, @tvotoday.bsky.social

Good. Resistance to the Trump regime's tyranny is absolutely necessary.

This disgusting person lies whenever he opens his mouth. Also, someone should ask him - just for fun and to see what comes out - on what legal basis El Salvador is holding Abrego Garcia.

What was that capital of Panem called again, in The Hunger Games? Ah yes - the Capitol. Are we there yet?

So now we know what trip to Ft Knox was all about... Next up, plundering the treasury and using the nation's financial security to buy imaginary money from the President's family. Well done, MAGAts!

I hate to say this, and it gives me the chills just to think it, but CECOT is on (and not a short way down) the road to Auschwitz.

And thus the USA became the United Soviet States of America (USSA). I never traveled to USSR while it existed and I think I will keep that policy with its ideological successor.

In paradise in ye olde home towne, with one of the best beers on the planet. #dĂĽsseldorf #uerige

“Countries no one has ever heard of.”

Does Jim Jordan still run that “weaponization committee” of his? Just wondering.

Oh, boy. Elon Musk will be in so much trouble… Or nah?

The billionaire mafia equivalent of the Bat Signal.

It's been a dump-and-pump (as opposed to pump-and-dump) scheme all along, facilitated by the erosion of the SEC. Insider trading as a form of governance. Now all Trump needs is his own deregulated crypto scheme to hide all the cash. Oh, wait...

Before Fluoride. There's your answer, Mr. Speaker.

Not only that, they're paying El Salvador to carry out that mistreatment, with taxpayers' dollars.

Wow. Have straw man, will torch!

I've been saying for a while that MAGA has lost Amy Coney Barrett; she appears to be actually invested in the rule of law.

If Pierre Poilievre can't handle the media, who else will he avoid confronting? The Conservative leader’s tightly-controlled media circus is disquieting, by @justinling.ca www.thestar.com/opinion/cont... via @thestar.com #journalism

I...can't even. These imbeciles are a walking advertisement for the idea that government should be left to women. We're less corruptible, less stupid, and less prone to lying just so Big Daddy loves us - and when we think, it's with the head that sits on our shoulders.

Countries are real estate, people are furniture, and the US government is a for-profit business with one shareholder.

Maybe by the time this is all over, people will have come to understand the value of government and good governance, and the reason for taxes. Maybe.

Well, good thing they're totally screwing the education system so there'll be tons of people with no other job prospects than - checks notes - "screwing in little screws".

Of course, Gingrich would see war crimes against Ukraine and Ukrainians as an “insult to the United States” - because everything and anything is only ever about the United States.

That's a lot of people to pay for protesting... Those "Democratic billionaires" must have one hell of an efficient and effective recruitment, registration, verification, and payment system - and far better OpSec than the Pentagon, to boot.

The #HandsOff protest across the US today give me hope that the America that was committed to decency, human rights, democracy, and the rule of law is still alive under that encrustation of Trumpism. Let's cut off that rot and move forward together - 🇨🇦 and 🇺🇸, hand in hand, as we used to.

In these troubled times, we can all use someone to lend us a hand. #Caturday

All the US has to do is ask for him back. It's not rocket science. canuck21.substack.com/p/some-thoug...

"Hardest working president in history." (PS: If he's in Florida on a Friday, when did he leave DC?)

I have subscribed to @theatlantic.com since the first Trump administration. Its writers are fearless, smart, objective, and informed.

This is the moment in patrimonial and autocratic systems when The Leader starts looking for external enemies and territorial expansion - to distract from his failures and to give the illusion of strength and progress.

Anyone who smiles and sparkles as much as Lutnick does when spouting as many lies and lunacies as this guy does is either really dumb, or expects everyone else to be.

And you sure don't have a trade deficit with a country that has 300 million fewer people than your own. Duh.
