Trumps plan summarized: Raise tariffs on the world (except his boss Vlad). Ask American companies to eat the increase and not pass price increases to consumers. Hope every other country in the world will quietly allow their economies to be negatively impacted without reciprocation.

The crazy thing is MAGA still hasn’t figured it out. In Trump term 1 there were enough guardrails to mostly contain his economic illiteracy. Biden took the heat because he came in as the negative impact was starting. If Biden lost, Trump would have tanked the economy 4 years ago, and blamed Obama.
