America is a collapsing empire. It has happened to all previous empires but none of those were loaded to the gunwales with nukes. American empire WILL die but it won't go quietly.

Kids' lives are so weak these days, so bubble wrapped and sanitized. Climbing to the very top of a tree, train hopping, riding alone on my bicycle, all over the city, at the age of 10. I tell of these things and kids are flabbergasted at my erstwhile derring do. Childhood is ruined.
