I used to have one named Kodachi. Tegu’s like people, but will eat small mammals, so bring your cat inside! They’re about three feet long and mostly tail. The jaws are powerful, though. So be careful and lay out an empty pillowcase if you see it. The tegu will crawl inside like a cat to a box.
