Learning recently I’m much more fond of government agencies than many folks in the US (many serve communities and employ my colleagues!) But I’m especially fond of the USPS. I can send and receive little gifts across the vast country! I chat with the mailperson! Stamps are so cool!

I have pen pals. There is a whole snail mail community on Instagram. Check out incowrimo.org and see I’m not an outlier. Save the USPS!

Cheering myself up by looking at an ancient scan of a 1982 USPS booklet I loved as a kid: "P.S. Write Soon," developed jointly by the postal service and the National Council of Teachers of English to instill a love of writing letters. It worked!

The men carrying out Musk's coup are Akash Bobba, Edward Coristine, Luke Farritor, Gautier Cole Killian, Gavin Kliger, and Ethan Shaotran. Make them famous. And, eventually, when possible, arrest them and charge them with multiple felonies. www.wired.com/story/elon-m...

The #InCoWriMo site seems like a blank domain now. I just saw some 2025 addresses yesterday.

Two lovely women I know have had chemo the past two days. Reading this news about cancer research being frozen because of the tyrant in the White House makes me furious. We’re not even a week in. I’m at a loss for how we will survive.

Enjoy Black Friday folks 🖤🖤🖤. ‘Cause next year you alone (not the country we are importing from, not our government) will pay the tariff on the products that are assigned them. Black Friday 2024 brought to you competently by non-fascists, enjoy.

Life in the simulation is going just swell; thanks for asking. people.com/rfk-jr-heroi...

I remember when I thought this kind of thing only happened in Carl Hiaasen books. www.aol.com/florida-golf...

One wonders whether Trump recalls that he might have expired of COVID if he hadn’t gotten blue-ribbon care.

I’m seeing how well my husband is being taken care of by Medicare right now. I hope it is there for me and the Trump train wreck doesn’t slash it.

I think I'm just going to put on noise canceling headphones for the next four years.
