Backed! Hell yeah - I'm biased. I don't care. This game looks fucking sick and so up my alley and it has absolutely one of the best teams behind it - it's a no-brainer for me πŸ‘€

re: the marvel rivals news, it's always a great look (read: bad look) when the industry practice is to develop successful games using talented workers who are then tossed aside, leaving the profits from said success to filter only towards those that are still around to benefit (those that tossed)

Anybody positing that the problem with the games industry is that devs are too expensive is gonna get an instant block. For the cost of one EA CEO you could afford 213 devs making $120k apiece. Read the room, my dudes; a LOT of very skilled people are out of work right now. Profits are trickling up

Look, I'm not a fancy CEO guy, but if someone said to me "the key to this successful single-player IP's success is to make it purely a multiplayer game. No, not a spin off: fundamentally change the DNA of what people loved about the core game" to me, I'd probably, like, quit that job or something.

Game studio announcements be like, β€œWe laid off all your favourite devs! But don’t worry, all the people actually responsible for the horrible decision-making that led to this massive failure are staying on :) and they will still be driving their new Porsches :) all is well!!!!!”

there are only 3 kinds of game producers. i will not explain

I'm watching Twin Peaks on blu ray and each episode has an optional intro with the Log Lady giving a cryptic message - it's not making a lot of sense yet but I'm so here for it πŸ˜‚πŸͺ΅

The marginal details of the David Lynch memorial at the Burbank Bob’s Big Boy are what make it.

It's been over two weeks and these are still on the eShop. Nintendo hasn't responded to any of our reports of these egregious scams which are using our trademarked game name and purposely tricking Nintendo customers into buying cheap fakes.

this rules πŸ‡³πŸ‡Ώ #nzpol

Always πŸ’– Don't make me tap the sign

"does this game sell" "does that game sell" bitch, the fuck do you care. Half the best games ever made "failed to meet expectations". Shadow of the Colossus? Alien Isolation? Mirror's Edge? Is yer joy based on first week sales?? Stop doing free PR for corporations and start respecting artists
