In almost all contexts where AI will be applied, because of the promise of improvement or advantage, it will wreck fields of practice and by the time that’s recognised, a lot of contextual experience necessary to fix the damage will have been lost.

AI will take your job as a software developer because organisations will make those decisions. I also believe that AI will make architecture worse to the point that organisations might go bankrupt or need to rehire many engineers (or consultants, unfortunately...) to modernize their AI architecture.

No such thing as context free maturity. If you use a maturity model that was not developed (or at least adapted to _and_ tested) in your context, then you are following an improvement path for someone else’s journey. (And it’s doubtful that this is good for you.)

The reason engineers, even those who know about “the curtain”, talk magic is investment bets.

This phrasing has stuck with me since last night. "Excessive frame control" tends to coincide with my frustration w the TL. When pluralism is no more tolerated because there's one perspective that's somehow deemed to be the true one, ignoring all the uncertainty and open context around a phenomenon.
