ITS THE YEAR 2025 AND GOOD CHARLOTTE ARE DOING A THING. I REPEAT GOOD CHARLOTTE ARE DOING THE MUSIC THING. SCREAAAAAAMMMMMMMIIIIIINGGGGGGG

One of the reason boomers think us young-ins are wasting our money is because they haven't emotionally realised or accepted that a tv costs less than a week's rent. They still feel like it costs a year's rent

There is no depression in New Zealand There are no sheep on our farms There is no depression in New Zealand But hang on, the Body Shop just went into liquidation so, could we be heading to a depression? Could we though? Long, drawn out recession, could we though? What's National going to do? #NZPol

We're really living in times where a nazi salute is being rationalised hey

National's plan to grow the economy as per an interview with Nicola Willis this morning; foreign students, tourists and immigrants. Might wanna stop the heavy bleed from New Zealand to fairer climes first or you are pissing uphill #NZPol

There's a local artist, whom, I do personally love, but I feel like they get pushed for a lot of different events/opportunities and yet I'm not sure they even actually have a fan base???? Like outside of their hometown. I.never see anyone hyping them up, at some shows there's barely even a crowd

I definitely would love to see all international touring acts have local support while in NZ, But also, at the same time, a lot of my favourite acts have only been able to tour here as international support. Ima out here wanting both a local & international support slots. 😹.

I recently heard Muroki's Wavy - the TeReo version on MaiFM and at first I was ike "heyyyy this is cool that MaiFM play TeReo Māori waiata" .... But then it clicked what song it was/that it's not actually originally in TeReo But I mean heyyyy who cares, it's cool they play it.

What the anti-Māori culture warriors are incapable of accepting is that this is the direction we're heading in and there's nothing they can do to stop it.

The Index, Middle and Ring finger on my left hand each have one slice on the same ange in roughly the same spot.

For Aotearoa based folx recommend Australian series - Limbo on Three - warning about grief and suicide but very well done drama with lightness too #Televison #Kikorangi

If you’re wondering which news outlets to bother with for the next four years. BBC News: ‘gesture’ NY Times: ‘Hand Gesture’ CBC News: ‘fascist salute’ Toronto Star: ‘controversial salute’ The Guardian: ‘fascist salute’ CTV News: ‘salute’ Al Jazeera: ‘Nazi salute’

there are plenty of specific words for people like caitlyn jenner and brianna wu.. turncoat.. traitor.. quisling.. ladder puller.. and so on, before you get to the deep roster of regular ways to say someone is an asshole, a rich fuckface, or suv murderer. use your fucking thesaurus and your head

People Watching: at the beach, Long Bay Regional Park, Auckland, on a sunny Saturday morning

I need to get up and hang my washing up and do other stuff otherwise imma fall asleep soon.

I’m happy you exist I’m happy you are here please don’t stop fighting the battles you don’t talk about!

Marlon Williams new single is superb. All in Te Reo. His new album will also be all in Māori. Out April.

The world is crying, Begging for help. But we are to loud, Greedy and selfish. So it continues, As we pretend and ignore. But time is ticking And we can't for much more.

Need a unique nz gift!

Heads up whānau. If you didn’t get a chance to submit on the Boot Camps bill or the Social Welfare bill, submissions have been extended until Jan 24 which means you have 3 days to get submitting. www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/politics/...

Ok #booksky, let’s talk. 👎🏼Goodreads, owned by Amazon, fuels its monopoly on books. 👍🏼StoryGraph, a Black woman-owned platform, offers an ethical, ad-free alternative with mood-based recommendations, user control over data, and a focus on inclusivity. Support diversity over corporate power!

I know this band is allllllll about the two (well 3) brothers but they do the 2 BM in their band dirty having them play in the shadows.

What does Luxon actually do. He doesn’t have any portfolios, he evidently doesn’t read anything and isn’t across anything, he doesn’t appear to have any interest or respect for the people of Aotearoa. Why are you there?

Kia ora 2025!!! Peace out 2024.

A snapshot of some of National’s broken promises on Health - so far #nzpol #kiwi Related video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-mD...

Anyone else feel like they are dragging their mind and body through mud to get to the end of 2024?

Kash Patel apparently runs a "America First" clothing line. "Tired of seeing your money go overseas?" reads a product page. "Support your fellow Americans by purchasing a Protect Our People t-shirt." Shirt appears to be made on Next Level blanks ... which are made in Central America and Haiti.

Great thread on mission-led government and the strengths and weaknesses of targets.

You know who was desperate to have Akld Transport set up as a statutory CCO, arms length from council? Stephen Joyce, supported by Rodney Hide. So much that they ignored advice from Treasury and MoT. Those guys look like statesmen compared with this crew of sorry ass mofos. I’m getting brainnrot 🤪

That’s a LOT of striking nurses! We’re here because budget cuts are putting lives at risk #nzno #marangamai #tewhatuorastrike #nursestrike #nzpol #nursesky #strike

Ōtautahi Christchurch, if anyone is having trees like this removed, let the Spoon Club know!

Apparently the Cost of Livings back has been broken according to the PM. Only if you have a surplus of houses to put on the block. #JustNow on Morning report.

“Pāpā Moana Jackson used to say that if you’re born Māori, you’re automatically political. It’s inherent in who we are and how we roll, irrespective of the careers or the paths that we take.” — Ria Hall.

Big day for our wonderful nurses tomorrow and boy are they PISSED OFF

This is why I supported the Greens' guaranteed income policy. It's near impossible for 2 adults to live on one income these days, and it's absurd that WINZ can effectively coerce people into or out of living situations like this.

The survivors deserve so much better but they've got, well, National #NZPol

Ah Monday. You’re back again.

Be neat to have a leader we respect, a person of integrity & honour & vision we’re proud to have representing us here & on the world stage & not some craven grabby frothy-mouthed flaccid starch tuber full of flimflam & finagle, never accountable, ever deflecting, dangerously inept, small, dim, weak.

💔💔💔💔💔

Different view for today’s sunrise over the ocean. I brought my drone and shot straight down as the high tide waves broke across the same rock seen in my last sunrise video. Same rock, different perspective. The reflections of the waves off the rock are just beautiful geometric patterns.

Your sister splashed out on the bottle, Now no one's celebrating. Dom Pérignon, you brought it, No crowd of friends applauded, Your hometown skeptics called it “Champagne Problems.”
