Sigh. Just a moment of raw honesty: I did not realize how difficult it would be psychologically and emotionally to go from a decade of poverty, to almost 2 years of six-figure income, then back to poverty. I’m tenacious, capable, and creative. I’m going to be alright, but this is very difficult.

#3GoodThings: 1. That week long neuropathic itching attack is over. I’d forgotten what baseline felt like! I learned a lot. 2. My chronic pain levels are much lower overall, haven’t had to use my CBD gummies or heating pad much. 3. Despite everything (finances, this country, etc.) I forge forward.

You can’t beat these farm fresh eggs! I’m so grateful. Liquid gold that I am happy to turn into delicious quiches. My late Aunt Betty, rest in peace, taught me how to make pie crusts from scratch. But there’s nothing wrong with getting some from the fridge section! Makes it easier to feed myself.

Well… plans change sometimes. And that’s ok! Planned to visit a fairy festival at the farmers market today, but the forecast is rainy, the AQI is 101 (smells awful and my allergies are mad), and I tweaked my back yesterday somehow. So today is a heating pad, comfy recliner & a stack of books day.

Just now I saw a mama boat tailed grackle walking around the yard with her two larger young ins, grabbing anything she could find off the ground and stuffing it in their mouths. And they started moving towards Miss Moth! So I ran out there and got big & loud to chase them away. Whew!

#ActuallyAutistic moment: giving honest feedback about a dehumidifier, and getting contacted directly by the manufacturer, so puzzled, because their model has literally never received a noise complaint. Yep! I’m just a sensitive individual lol.
