Saki, my first small dog and a rescue like the Greyhounds before her. Gone as of today; she sleeps under the butterfly bushes. Joyful little being, rest in peace Little Bits.

Instead of thinking you were made by a god and exalted above all existence, maybe you could think that you were lucky to be born into evolutionary circumstances that allowed your species to dominate the planet. You aren't special; you just have good genes. So be humble.
