May we dodge another bullet on 20 April. The focus on this is noisy, but ultimately? Well, we've been here before. Many times. It's boring and we're all tired of the SOS. I pray for unity between those that own and those that make value from what's owned. We need each other. But not like this.

If he invokes the Insurrection Act, force him and his handlers to state who, specifically, the enemy is. What country are we at war with and why the fuck are we at war anyways? And ya can't go to war with anyone without at least giving them a heads' up, right?

I'm at a stage in my life where it's becoming harder to distinguish between depression and grief. A series of losses, compounded by the effects of a high mileage life...I ain't Keith Richards, I don't mainline formaldehyde, and I'm no Pharaoh. Nor I am Persephone. Want a no return policy, please.

For those of you who have lived in one place or area for a while - what's changed? I recall bluer skies and lower summer temperatures in central Texas. More snow later in the year in Colorado. Less volcanic activity here in Costa Rica.

I fucking refuse to obsess over the latest news for the next four years of 45 1/2. Been there, done that. There is very little I can effectively do to influence the course of events. Not in the USA; legally I'm in TX and my reps are fuckwads. Turning it all off is a survival strategy. For now.

PSA. Everyone dies alone. You can be surrounded by loved ones, but the process is yours. From an observer's view, a person becomes so relaxed they don't swallow, open their eyes, or breathe. I was a hospice nurse. Don't be afraid of dying. Not only is it inevitable, but I think it's nature's gift.

And here I am on SM telling y'all to turn it off. You have to. Life isn't happening on these tiny fucking screens no matter how much the content therein tells you otherwise. Find life. Even a weed growing from cement. The sky above, everyone gets that much. She's there. Embrace Her.

A difficult world is coming. My hope is that democracy will survive. It's needed to direct the response to climate change for everyone's benefit. The majority must find ways to survive, preserve, and thrive. Adaptation is the only path left; climate reversal left the building a long time ago.

Wall Street and Inc act like virgins. Yes, they have been around a long time. But the fact is that these institutions sit back and wait to see what will happen, and then react to the facts afterwards; well, it makes me wonder what power they have and do they really have any power at all?

Where the hell are the Powers That Be? I thought that at least the financial markets would (could) push to protect themselves from the Con Artist in Chief, but apparently not. Millions of citizens on the streets got footnotes in MSM. SCOTUS is AWOL or a tool. Who or what can stop this destruction???
