That's a nice Touareg!

Today's hot take is that we don't need to have power functions for seat forward/back or for reclining. It is just as precise and much faster to pull a lever and move the seat manually. Want to power other seat functions? Go ahead. So much of my life has been spent waiting while power seats to move.

The BMW i8 is an amazing car. It was sadly priced way too high when it came out. Its cargo space isn't great, but the back seats are surprisingly easy to access for cargo or even child car seats. I would love to have one of these.

I really wish that North America would improve its automotive lighting standards. And I don't just mean headlights. Amber rear turn signals should be standard here instead of just making a red taillight flash.

"Buff" is a vague term that means different things to different people. Don't ask for your car to be "buffed." Say that you want it protected or oxidation/swirls/scratches removed. Even better, just have a free estimate visit to show me your car and tell me how you'd like it to look when I'm done.

There is nothing wrong with a Nissan Altima if that is what gets you through life, and I'm just as happy to help you care for it and love it as any other car.

I don't remember car batteries being this expensive. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only business not jacking prices way up, but I'm worrying I might have to raise mine just to keep my bills paid if this keeps up which sucks because I don't want to add to the feedback loop of inflation.

These are weird. I like weird. It was also surprisingly enjoyable to detail.

Why are there still cars being made without automatic headlights? GM got this right with automatic headlights that can't be permanently turned off and forgotten but instead are back to automatic the next time the car is started. There is no excuse to still be getting this wrong.

This 1M's sealant was producing beads like this during an initial rinse even before being washed. Ceramic coatings are objectively superior, but a truly good sealant can still be impressive.

I would like to pat myself on the back for resisting the urge to introduce myself and offer my services to all the neat cars I happen to see in parking lots or whatnot. I really don't like being randomly solicited by businesses I'm not seeking, so I feel very strongly about not doing it myself.

I'm here just in case. We'll see if I actually use this thing or not since I never was a Twitter person either.
