Pilet's stereo audio module design is now complete and off to manufacturing. It features the TI TLV320AIC3105 codec, a Knowles microphone, and a 3.5mm TRRS stereo audio jack. The speakers connect via JST SURS connectors, making them easy to swap or upgrade.

We’re looking for a passionate web developer to join our team and help refine our website. If you’re experienced with Svelte, SvelteKit, TailwindCSS, and have some solid backend knowledge, we want to hear from you. Feel free to reach out to us at [email protected]

Here is a preview of Pilet's NVMe module which is now in manufacturing and testing. We’re considering using a knurled thumb screw instead of a traditional screw for securing the SSD. This would make installation and swapping SSDs much easier, but it might slightly increase thickness. What you think?

We're completely redesigning the keyboard/gamepad module for Pilet, but before we dive in, we'd love to hear your ideas and suggestions! www.kickstarter.com/projects/sou...

The new Raspberry Pi 5 with 16GB of RAM works great with Pilet. www.kickstarter.com/projects/sou...

A huge shoutout to our newest contributor, Alessandro (github.com/ale1800), for his incredible work on our input controller. Powered by RP2040, it features a custom-designed trackball offering precision beyond anything currently available. www.kickstarter.com/projects/sou...

We're working on adding phone call functionality to our Pilet minicomputer.. The LTE module comes with a detachable SMA antenna, and it also supports an FPC antenna. Feel free to support our Kickstarter: www.kickstarter.com/projects/sou...

Raising $400K in under 48 hours has been absolutely unreal—thank you so much for the support! We’ve added new stretch goals: new colors and transparent cases for both Pilet 5 and Pilet 7, and a detachable keyboard/gamepad module for Pilet 7. Let’s make it happen. www.kickstarter.com/projects/sou...

Folks, the moment has arrived. Pilet is launching tomorrow (January 8th at 9 AM EST) on Kickstarter, with prices starting at $199. The first 100 backers will receive a free NVMe module. www.kickstarter.com/projects/sou...

The PCB for Pilet’s battery module is almost production-ready. Huge thanks to @pcbway for their awesome support and sponsoring our prototyping.

Pilet is an open-source, modular, portable console for tinkerers, creatives, hackers, coders, and learners. Powered by the latest Raspberry Pi 5, it’s the first truly portable solution with a 7-hour battery life. Its modular design makes it easy to modify and hack. More info: soulscircuit.com/pilet
