Books and running are my therapy. I can’t stand the toddler Oompa Loompa tyrant or his cronies. Dogs are better than people. I’d probably main line coffee if I could.

Top reasons I run: -endorphins -stress relief -prove I still can at my age -more time outside -new achievements are the best high -gives anger a healthy outlet because murder is frowned upon #running

Celebrating Indie Book Store day! By all means, visit your local book store! But if are looking to do more? Here’s an idea. Some states are cutting all humanities funding. Book festivals are ending. #booksky #indiebookstoreday

Happy Indie Bookstore Day! I have never seen my favorite bookstore so full of people! Book lovers unite! #booksky

I hadn’t done monkey bars in so many years! 💀 This was a blast! #running #mudrun

This is your regular reminder that executive orders are not royal decrees. Because America has no king.

Nighttime summer storms are the best!

Slowly working my distance back up. That last hill almost made me resort to walking, but I pushed through. Totally did the Breakfast Club fist at the end of this run. #running

You surprise me sometimes, America. In my ultra-conservative town, it’s easy to feel alone. Days like today, when people from so many walks of life show up to say, “No more!” inspire me to keep going. Even if the top MAGAts ignore you, people like me see you, and that matters. #handsoff

I fucking dare someone to say gun control isn’t an issue to me right now. This is the second time in 3 years that’s I’ve been worried about someone at a college shooting. Not to mention the actual losses of people I’ve known in my lifetime.

Squeezed in a quick run this afternoon in this gorgeous weather!

Of all the author events I’ve attended, none have been like Jeneva Rose’s event. Nearly all Q&A! Her style is unique, yet it suits her well as she somehow manages to maintain her wit throughout it all. Can’t wait to dive into this one! #booksky

“They were careless people…they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money or their vast carelessness…and let other people clean up the mess they had made…” -- F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby (April 10, 1925).

As the market crashed on Monday, my mind immediately went here. Sometimes it really sucks to have your cynical side win.

My favorite barista met me at the register this morning holding up the last literal inch of flavor syrup for my go to drink. The one not on the menu anymore. It gave me the boost I needed to push a little further on my run and then tackle the rest of the day. Kindness matters. #coffee #running

I’ve read some decent books so far this year, but this is the one that is sticking with me the most so far. Highly recommend! #booksky

Hundreds of people showed up to #handsoff even in my very red state. Sooo many honks, fists in the air, and thumbs up from passing cars, too. If this notoriously MAGAt area can do it, so can you!

All Hail, Penguin Books!
