Nice afternoon for some sailing! πŸ˜…

Check out the SpaceX patch for the Crew-10 mission! First Crew Dragon splashdown in the Pacific Ocean!

Welcome back RocketShip! ULA's rocket transportation vessel makes its first delivery to Cape Canaveral in 6 months, following an upgrade and overhaul to future-proof the ship for the Vulcan program. nsf.live/spacecoast

The SpaceX cryo tanks that departed KSC via barge 2 weeks ago have crossed the Gulf and arrived in Texas - but not Starbase! They appear to be unloaded near the city of Victoria. It's not unreasonable to think these may be trucked the 3.5 hours north to SpaceX's McGregor facility.

Falcon 9's landing leg meets the scrap pile, literally. πŸ˜₯ RIP B1086. nsf.live/spacecoast

Fast Ship Hannah Ray is back to sea and working the offshore hazard area near Starbase ahead of the launch attempt in a few hours.

SpaceX Dragon recovery ship Megan departed Canaveral this morning for the Gulf, to support the Crew-9/Crew-10 rotation. With twin ship Shannon now located in California, going into this rotation not 100% certain how primary and backup splashdown sites will work. nsf.live

Rough Bahamas Cruise for Falcon 9...

Bonus footage of SpaceX deploying the Mark Set Buoy Bots in the Indian Ocean on a previous mission to observe Starship splashdown

Next delivery of cryogenic tanks to aerospace companies at Cape Canaveral snuck it just before 1 am this morning. Count at least four tanks onboard in various lengths. nsf.live/spacecoast

Voyager, the ship converted by Space Perspective into a launch and recovery platform, is underway from Fort Pierce. The company is in a state of flux and is reported to have essentially all-but collapsed with most staff furloughed.

The first of two cargo ships expected at Port Canaveral this weekend has arrived, carrying a single cryogenic tank. The second ship, arriving Sunday, is also set to visit Port of Brownsville next week (h/t CowboyDanPaasch), which is a bit of a clue as to who ordered these... nsf.live/spacecoast

A look at the barge Oceanus, which Rocket Lab has acquired for conversion into a landing platform for the Neutron rocket. Built in 2010 and 400ft long x 105ft wide, the barge is slightly longer than Blue Origin's Jacklyn, both outclassing SpaceX's trio of 300ft long droneships.

A revised render from Rocket Lab for their upcoming Neutron droneship! Per the linked press release, the company has acquired a stock barge (photographed) and will convert it, much like SpaceX's approach. 'Return On Investment' is a fantastic name. 10/10 no notes.

Cryogenic tanks are set to arrive at Port Canaveral from overseas for an unnamed aerospace company as early as Saturday. One of these ships began its journey in India.

Fast Crew Ship Hannah Ray, which supported the previous two Starship flights out in the Gulf of Starbase, is heading to Port Isabel in preparation for Flight 8.

How many legs does a Falcon 9 have ?

The cryo tanks loaded at KSC several days ago have just passed through the locks and are now waiting at Port Canaveral for their onward journey (probably to Starbase...) nsf.live/spacecoast

Falcon 9 lands in The Bahamas for the first time!!! πŸ‡§πŸ‡Έ First International Landing!!

Cool bit of innovation to "get the job done" here by ULA! Not everyday you do a floating ship-to-ship rocket transfer!

It's a Bahamas Party as SpaceX will land a Falcon 9 rocket within the country for the very first time! Just Read the Instructions is on station ~20 miles west of Lookout Cay (Disney's Private Cruise Resort). Bob is hunting 30 miles south to recover the fairing.

Four....

Just Read the Instructions droneship is underway from Port Canaveral to support Falcon 9's first landing off the coast of The Bahamas! Estimated LZ on the red marker Views: nsf.live/spacecoast

Now up to three tanks moved for barge transport! These tanks have been identified by the community as having been staged at LC-39A for quite some time. Views: nsf.live/spacecoast

Groundhog Day again. SpaceX appears to have moved a large cryo tank staged from the direction of LC-39A towards the KSC turn basin for loading onto an awaiting barge. @nasaspaceflight.com Views: nsf.live/spacecoast

SpaceX's Dragon recovery ship Shannon appears to be getting stuck into some initial training at her new home in the Port of Long Beach, California. That first West Coast Dragon splashdown in half a decade is coming soon....

The Port of Los Angeles is still determining the future of the site that was briefly leased by SpaceX for a planned Starship manufacturing facility. SpaceX leased the site from 2018-19 and then was reconsidering again in 2020 when plans were dropped just a month after approval. t.co/vkIsTGaUnV

The Florida Department of Transportation 25-26 budget includes $90 mil for Florida’s Spaceport Improvement Program A recommended policy change also directly calls out for a block on Port Canaveral from diverting state funds intended for cargo/space elsewhere with state approval

SpaceX Recovery ship Bob is back from the SPAINSAT mission but only one fairing half appears to have been recovered. πŸ’” Views: nsf.live/spacecoast

From Barge to Built 😏 June 2024 in Florida to January 2025 at Starbase! Cameras everywhere: nsf.live

Testing out some Dragon dunking in Port Canaveral this afternoon. It's not clear if recovery ship Megan will also make the big move to join twin ship Shannon in California soon and moments like this will become harder to spot πŸ₯². Views: nsf.live/spacecoast

Journey complete! 29 days and 5000 miles - SpaceX Dragon recovery operations have resumed in the Pacific Ocean with the arrival of Shannon in Long Beach.

Arrival! The Blue Origin Jacklyn barge returns to Cape Canaveral empty-handed, following the successful first flight of New Glenn. The first stage helped push Blue Ring to orbit but failed to make it down again for a landing attempt. Views: nsf.live/spacecoast

Through the fog off Cape Canaveral... Jacklyn, the Blue Origin landing barge, is inbound to Port Canaveral following the debut launch of New Glenn. The booster did not make it through for a landing attempt. nsf.live/spacecoast

Jeff Bezos and Dave Limp taking in the views in launch control

Congratulations to New Glenn for beating Starship to orbit

Blue Ghost and Blue Ring are two unrelated missions. Blue Ring is being launched by a company called Blue Origin. Not every mission with the word blue is associated with Blue Origin. Blue Ghost is a lunar lander not to be confused with Blue Moon which is a lander by Blue Origin.

Is Falcon 9 cooked??? After 25 flights, I'd say so! πŸ˜…πŸ”₯ nsf.live/spacecoast

The first Falcon 9 booster to fly 25 times is now returning to Port Canaveral. Views: nsf.live/spacecoast

Blue Origin's Jacklyn landing barge is in position, ~629 km downrange, for the debut launch (and landing 🀞) of New Glenn.

Blue Origin-owned fast patrol boat Sting Ray spotted racing around of Cape Canaveral just now. Went for a quick trip offshore to view LC-36. Have seen this boat escorting the Jacklyn barge previously but not managed to catch it directly. Views: nsf.live/spacecoast
