Between the 'digital' future, big data, crypto, nft's and genAi degeneracy, I feel we might need to start taking the concept of 'divergent evolution' in tecnology more seriously.

For act 2 I've decided to make the overall layout of hte level before starting to polish. This pretty much let me hit a much shorter development cycle than with act 1. I actually cant wait to playtest the entire level in a single session. Ideas are going places and dev milestones are exhilarating

I kinda wanna run a test with a smaller window size, but it can't be me the one doing the test run.

I've been having some serious thought about the screen size and general size relationship of everything in my game. Like it used to be even much larger (I used to target 1920x1080, not upscaled!), but the current 960*600 screen size isnt makign things that much easier.

I have an actor called mover. It lets me move anythign I set as a child across the screen. im only really moving mover. So I put a platform so mover can move a child. I just found out that mover also teleports anything standing on the platform. This isnt intended behavior but I want to use it now

A MVP state has been reached for the little surprise in Act 2, and I can now move onto developing the second half of the act. At this point last year, I was barely *starting* development on act 1. This is a cursed comparison since the first half of Act 2 is much more lineal and non-expansive.

I'm SV and level design is my passion. After struggling with level design, the ideas are finally flowing again. I hope people have fun playing through this stage the same way I'm having fun making it. No screenshot or anything. I just wanted to voice this thought.
