That’s interesting as CALENTURE is the album of theirs that I probably know best. Though admittedly BORN SANDY DEVOTIONAL is probably my favourite.

Enjoyed the smaller room for Fringe comedy I saw last year, it’ll happen eventually!
I did look at CoF, but already had a ticket for Mogwai at the Usher Hall.
Those previous tickets were for The Nightingales (cancelled) & Kristin Hersh (moved to Summerhall), which would’ve been great in there.

Excellent band, one of my very favourites for a very long time now.
I did give myself an extra constraint here of not repeating any choices from when the same challenge was run a while back. I still had the playlist filled away and that had TOLERANCE on it.

I’ve still never managed to see a band at the Voodoo Rooms (bought tickets for a couple, but had one show cancelled in lockdown and other moved to a bigger venue) but did finally see *something* there during the Fringe last year :-)

Excellent. Hadn’t heard it that recently TBH, but - coincidentally - last week I was sorting through a box of records that I’d not opened in a while, and pulled out the JACKET HANGS 12” for a play, so it was fresh in my mind.

I remember buying that from the HMV on Tottenham Court Road, on the way to the interview that got me a decent placement during my degree course, which in turn paid for a *lot* more records during the final year :-)
