I often divide the year into events because I have a hard time keeping up. My friend Kirisis got sick there in 2024. And passed soon after. It’s hard to believe it’s been a year. She was an amazing writer and editor in the furry community. I’m rereading my copy of CLAW in honor of her.

I don’t think of my fursona as a character. I think of him as me. But it makes me wonder. Am I as like my perception of wolves as I think I am? If so, am I a wolf because I feel those qualities, or do I try to hold those qualities to live up to that wolf idea?

This just came up so for anyone who doesn't know - .AI files are *a vector file type*, they are Adobe Illustrator's native file type. Files ending with .ai don't have anything to do with /that/ kind of AI 🫶 Pls don't call out an artist bc you see them working on an .ai file

The people who embrace generative AI (plagiarism) will always have an advantage that they can shovel out their “work”more consistently. I have a book series sketched that has languished for 12 years and no story ideas to put To paper recently because everything’s on fire always.

One danger of embracing generative AI as a learning device and in language assistance is that you're letting the keepers of that AI have power over what you learn and how you write. It will be programmed with biases, unintentional but often *quite* intentional, that you will unknowingly adopt.
