@thomaswebber1954.bsky.social Tom, do you have this all figured out? I tried Twitter maybe a decade ago & wasn’t impressed, but I do see more need for this now, although much here too seems quite vapid. The gratuitous sailor talk still bores me.

@3obergs.bsky.social “All the lonely people” lyrics evoke the same angst, sadness and insecurities in older folks now. NOT pessimistic, but I challenge the notion that it’ll all work out. I recommend B. Ehrenreich’s profound book, ‘Bright-Sided’. Faith is flimsy; hope’s rhizomes won’t be repressed.
