Just a reminder that Carnegie didn't start founding libraries and giving away his fortune until after the Homestead Steel Strike and the resulting legal and political backlash. Until then he was just the richest person in the world.

While we are all talking about surviving this together, please remember that people with disabilities have always been forced to live in poverty to receive benefits in the US. We have always been forced to sue for basic accommodations. And anyone can unwillingly be disabled at any time.

Good pain/fatigue day or not (definitely not!), it’s the day before Thanksgiving. That means baking cupcakes to frost in the morning. Also made some ham and bean soup and blackberry jam as well. I’m exhausted, but I will be well fed!
