I’ve seen an uptick in people saying something like “statistics are useless”. My response is this. Statistics are a tool in your toolbox. Think of a knife. If used properly, this tool is extremely helpful. If used improperly, it can be detrimental. It’s the same with stats.

I think one of my favorite subtle things about Survivor is how players will use sayings incorrectly and the editing team leaves them in. For example, Jason saying “that’s one of the best things about this game. It can change on a drop of a dime”. Ha.

Here’s a hot take apparently about Survivor. I trust the producers. They have kept the show on air for 47 seasons. They have done what they felt keeps the show relevant enough to stay going. If what they do keeps the show on air, I am all for it.
