I reach into tomorrow For all my yesterdays, As they are my story, My own tale. And here I am, Full of gusto And bravo Because of all My yesterdays.

There's ways of truth And truths of truth But all the truth Is too long in the tooth For the truth of today. 12/12/2024

There seems to be little to tell But the toing and froing. I went there I went here And had a sandwich in between.

Sometimes I ache, As the whole world does But sometimes I ache alone. On a Monday morning Saying goodbye to the weekend juice And sometimes I just ache From my knees to my head And every joint in between. And sometimes I just ache In my heart In my soul. Sometimes I just ache.

It's world book day today, what are you reading? What's been your best read this year?

In 1989, when the Berlin Wall fell, I was, like many Europeans, moved. I was moved to tears, because it was my history that was being written, and I was proud to be part of it. This photo of European leaders around Zelinksi provokes the same emotions in me. Other walls will fall.

Trump says zalensky is a dictator whilst taking orders from putin, an actual dictator. You can't make this shit up.

Troy by Stephen Fry. The third book in the Greek myths series and by far the best so far. A retelling of the siege and fall of Troy and the horrors that befell the people. An easy, encapsulating but disturbing read.

These women didn’t sit down, stay quiet, or ask for permission—they broke the rules and changed the world. Role models. We should add Bishop Mariann Budde to the list.

Excellent post

Now that's funny 😁

Fairy Tale by Stephen King. 17 year old Charlie Reade becomes the Prince in his own adventure. An easy read, 2 stories in 1, absolutely fabulous 👌

Why do I call the Daily Mail a fascist Lügenpresse? Because they once glorified Hitler, whitewashed fascism, and now they did it again.

Tony slattery rip😭
