One of my favorite parts about Gquuuuuux is how hard the animation and choreography bounces between moments where the Mobile Suits feel like high-octane war machines and brief glimpses of strangely natural, organic, even human poses and animation. It's really cool.

One of the things that I really didn't love about the later Eva rebuilds is the amount of almost weightless, zero G mecha action, just felt really out of step with what I'd come to love and expect from Eva, but they play into it hard with Gquuuuuux and it's incredible.

Gundam Gquuuuuux: The Beginning is a riot. A frenetic, relentless barrage of Gundam fun and flair. Any doubts I had have been alleviated, and I'm so, so excited for what the show has to offer. Loved it.

What I find incredible about Takara and just the current crop of Transformers toys is that year after year there's something to blow me away. Be it a new version of that guy from that thing you like or a flipping articulated G1 Arcee toy, literally righting a 39 year old wrong.

There's a good chance that SSSS.Gridman is my most rewatched show. I'm pretty sure I've seen it 4 times now? Once by myself when it was new, and then three more times showing it to different people. Still rocks.
