Watching "The Working Man" (1933)

Laurence Olivier was so sweet in Love Among the Ruins. And Katharine Hepburn was a downright hoot

Clara's the only companion we regularly get to see confront the villain without the Doctor and manage to not only hold her own but succeed. Even in Deep Breath, where she's visibly shake and scared and not used to this, she wins and turns the tables on her opponent so she's interrogating him.

Are we ever getting new episodes of Midsomer Murders?

@willmckinley.bsky.social I finally watched Love Among the Ruins. It was the sweetest movie. I loved it! I laughed and had a big smile on my face the whole time.

Moffat era directors were on a whole other level. This one shot of Eleven's legs is well beyond anything we've had since 2017.

Audrey Hepburn! Claude Rains! Christopher Plummer! Donald O'Connor! Loving this #SUTS lineup! #TCMParty

Just recently I was listening to Beach Boys snd wondered about Brian Wilson. RIP to a musical great

Brian Wilson was my friend and my brother in songwriting. We shared a similar sensibility, as evidenced by his 4 over 5 chord under “Aaaah!” in "Good Vibrations” and mine under "I’m into something good.” We once discussed who used it first, and in the end we decided it didn’t matter. (Continued)

R.I.P. Brian Wilson

rest in peace, Harris Yulin. one of those legendary character actors.

Reminder! HBO Max's TCM "Brand Spotlight" has a Judy Garland birthday tab. Who knows how much longer we can say that, so enjoy it while you can! #FilmSky #Streaming

Judy Garland #BOTD in the Nov, 1957 edition of Photoplay. "I've been in love with audiences all my life.” #FilmSky

Watched Hobson's Choice last night for the first time. It was funny.

King of cool and, more importantly, my mother’s favorite crooner. Here’s to Dean Martin who was born today in 1917. ❤️ #botd

Apparently the 12th Doctor era was just a blip in the Doctor Who 20th Anniversary Unleashed special and Clara wasn't mentioned at all.

When are we getting new Midsomer Murders???

Beah Richards was excellent in Guess Who's Coming To Dinner. The scene, where she asks Spencer Tracy's character what happens to men when they get old, is so good.

Death in Heaven. Kate Stewart showed up, made a crack about the Doctor's hair, shushed him, and tranq'd him.

I am loving "The Essential Roy Orbison" album

I've added "Love Among the Ruins" to my Watch Later list on Youtube.

Currently watching "A Lost Lady" Barbara Stanwyck, Lyle Talbot, Frank Morgan

It's funny how in old shows and movies there always seemed to be fried chicken in the fridge and cake on the counter

What would be a good Silent Short film to show a little kid?

I love the way Spencer Tracy wore a fedora
