Went to look at adoptable cats today, one of them was a tiny orange and white kitten just like Graham was 17 years ago and it really stung. Getting to hold him felt nice, though. Didn't go home with any, I think I need to wait more.

I am writing down the many nicknames I had for my cat, but "Orange White and the Seven Barves" is my favorite. He gained it after he threw up 7 times in one morning and we had to find each individual barf.

We had to put our 17 year old cat down today and I feel like a part of me died with him. I'm being crushed by the grief. I loved this rude little man so much. He got cuddlier the older he got, which for any of you that knew him might surprise you. I love you, Graham. What an awful year this is...

I threw a pickle slice at a seagull today and I watched this garbage eater gently pick it up, taste it, the spit it out and walk away. I think that tells you all you need to know about pickle flavor. (I still like them from time to time...)

Making GREAT progress on Afterglow's 3D model! Just a little more weight paint jank to clean up. I've found some promising tutorials on more advanced cel shading/painterly fx that I want to try to apply here too. She is really a test bed for #blender3D techniques.

In Homeward Bound 2, there's a scene where a dog-actor growls and her human actor VO threatens a dog with "Looking to get yourself fixed?!" Then the scene de-escalates. Its pretty nuts (NPI) to realize that the male dog was about to get its balls bitten clean off. Just kids movie stuff.

WA friends, leave a comment here and/or call your reps. This is a blatant attempt at voter suppression in our state. If this passes, the state will start going more red, and that is by design. Supressed states vote conservative becauae they can't win fair elections.

This app is really nice for keeping you on task. I used it a lot during the 2016 Trump admin and will have to use it even more now. I remember mispronouncing Kavanaugh's name when I called to reject his nomination lol. It happens. Still better to call anyway.
