In my opinion if trump commits to the 25% blanket tariff on Mexico and it prolongs this will only push these nations to dealing with china. And I’m inclined to say Madam Presidente @claudiasheinbaum.bsky.social should call his bluff and keep Xi on speed dial.

Trumps picks are tests of loyalty for republicans but also because trump wants his cabinet to be ultra loyal. AND when things go bad he has easy dirt on them when he fires them to avoid criticism.

An example of this being Florida that failed the ballot for abortion not because the majority didn’t vote yes but because they lifted the minimum threshold to a level they believed wouldn’t be reached. Texas would do everything in its power to ensure it never gets onto the ballot.

One of the most common & heartbreaking complaints I hear from seniors is that they are being denied care by their "Medicare Advantage" plan -- a private insurance plan that exploits Medicare's sterling reputation for profit. We do not need more privatization of Medicare.
