My wife posed an interesting conspiracy theory that got me thinking. The reason Trump wants Canada as a state is so that birthright citizenship would pass directly to Musk, through his mother. Could allow Musk to fulfill VP role/other find paths to the presidency. Things that make you go "Hmmmmmmm".

KS congressmen just asked for my "input" for the current legislature. Anyone else love these surveys that can be twisted to fit your narrative? I could have added several others but they didn't give that option - only "Other".

Remembering Jimmy Carter - As a 19yo in Kansas in '76, like my father (and to paraphrase John Prine) I 'voted Republican because Lincoln won the war'. Thru the yrs I became a true admirer of the man, his values and his dedication to humanity. I'll raise a parting glass tomorrow to a great man.
