When the pilot of #Spider-man was first aired on ITV in the UK it was the 9th most popular show that week (4th Sept 1981). That’s no small feat considering the popularity of shows at the time. Figures are not available, but it must have at least 12m viewers (approx 1 in 5 people). #spiderman77 #tv
