Ah yes… another painful reminder of why I need to be very careful around sharp objects (in addition to blunt objects). Sliced my finger and palm cutting some cheese for a snack. Blood thinners aren’t exactly fun for things like this. (I’m ok now, disinfected and bandaged.) 🤕

Got some good news back from the thyroid biopsy. Results look fine and everything is benign. They'll continue to watch it but no further actions needed other than annual ultrasounds. What a relief! Thanks for all the good thoughts and vibes!! 🙏💖

For Christmas, Santa gave me an appointment for a thyroid biopsy on New Year’s Eve. Spending half a holiday in Boston at a hospital seems very fitting for me. And yes, my foot still hurts. #outpatientadventures

I dropped my laptop onto my foot while cleaning this morning. I am the pinnacle of grace, obviously. Laptop is fine; my foot is bruised and swollen with an abrasion but doesn’t seem to be fractured. Gotta keep an eye on it with my blood thinners doing their work. 🦶
