Been doing various small things when I have the spoons.

Working on a NYC&HR hopper bottom gondola of 1883. Made from the scraps of a binkley kit and various other kit wood. I hate adding NBWs...

Decals were a bit past their prime with some adhesive loss, but theres enough there that I can weather away the sins. But before I do, does anyone have any ideas for a fitting logo to paint on the door? Seems a bit bare.

The tiny Mack switcher has gotten new cutbars, handrails, and a first pass on paint. Due to limited space, I packed the hollow roof with tungsten and will fit more wherever I can once the lights are wired up. Keeping the cab open is definitely the plan.

Another model on the bench, this time a Bitter Creek 36' boxcar I built a while ago and never lettered. Decided to use these old CRM dry transfers and so needed a light body color. After some thinking, I decided on a light green with black ironwork. I do love the pun.

I know I gripe about #modeltrain & #boomers who gatekeep and ruin #modelrailroad for hobbyists but I really love how on #bsky there's an entire community of #queer #furries who are into #trains and I find far greater sense of community with them than I ever did for my little #autism hobby. ♥️🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Added a load to a tichy flatcar. Plus swapped to fox trucks.

Did some decal work last night. The two extremes of decals; fine and fragile or thick and durable.

Fun little mixed train last night. Tho this does show how much I need more 1900s stock.

Sipping some Tamiya Extra Thin to fuse my microplastics into macroplastics

The baby works, kinda... Need to sort out the binding.

Didnt go to Amherst, but I got a new friend anyway.

I managed to fit the electronics! Only thing not wired up yet is lights, but thatll wait until after painting.
