I have no use for centrists who hate the left, fascists who hate everyone and dumb (ie: all of them) libertarians. Just here to vent. No solicitations, please. I have no idea whether you're scamming or not and TBH, I just don't have the money anyway.

this is inarguably funny but still hits kinda weird in the current moment

amazing how one thing the democratic party never seriously considers is hyperpartisanship - republicans get crazier every year but democrats simply will not acknowledge it - there is utter terror within the party of saying anything that might seriously offend white conservative voters.

i do not buy this for one second - the guy has taken a public beating and is clearly running for cover - the most important thing is, does this mean DOGE is being dismantled? are the folks musk brought w/him being thrown out on their asses? "we knew this would happen blah blah blah" people so eager

not surprised by most u.s. media buying this shit but u.k.'s guardian is a fairly decent newsmag and THEY'RE falling for it too - gimme a fucking break, please.

audio commentary for Isle of Dogs with Wes Anderson - YAY!

let's be realistic: they were staffers for a republican congressperson - "things to help constituents" would be what? prepping bills to make it illegal to be trans? god knows the democrats uniformly suck, but republican electeds and their voters are some of the worst people on the planet

more and more we see this sort of stuff and SURPRISE! the folks who get the benefit of the doubt are overwhelmingly [1] white and [2] either right-leaning contrarians or flat-out conservatives (+ open racists, transphobes, etc)

The three kinds of posts

i am not taking any criticism of trump from musk seriously and am mildly surprised that the guardian is falling for this bullshit

prolly killed 70-80 ppl in drone strikes while giving his speech but at least he didn't nuke 'em!

i like to collect pulp paperbacks and GOOD LORD! this is one of the most depressing books i have ever read - it's not the racy, questionable-but-entertaining trash you'd expect form that cover - it's an incredibly downbeat book about a poor uneducated young woman who is taken advantage of by every

but but but wingnuts say they're all FBI plants - this shit is confusing!

not to be a doomer here, but we all know that one dem doesn't exist.

another aspect of this is: what is the ask and how does it benefit dems in the long run? corporate donors generally want dems to NOT do things - DON'T pass M4A, DON'T raise the minimum wage, DON'T etc etc - even if there was money for dems behind passing those initiatives, it would disappear the

i think chadloder.bsky.social posted a thread where he talked about the republican party as having conducted a a twenty year long "criminal interview" of the democratic party and come out on the other end understanding that there will never be any consequences for shit they do?

having read a few of them, i know every michael shannon has moments like this - aside from being a ridiculously brilliant actor, guy's just weirdly funny like this
