This was taken during a storm when all three were underfoot in the kitchen because they wanted my protection. Sadly, only one of these three is still with us. The thing that animals do wrong is to have such short lives. #caturday

I know it’s not Caturday today, but I lost my fur baby tonight so I am feeling sad. Hamish was with us for just over 15 years, even though he was annoyed at being yanked out of the shelter (where he was bullying the other kittens), we like to think that he liked us, even if only a little. #caturday

Ok, I know I looked like I had been dragged through a hedge backwards, but it was a warm day and these lovely people are very generous with the wine they serve on arrival and at lunch.... Anyway, I had a great day, and their home is amazing! Brilliant job Angel and Dick! #escapetothechateau
