Look I am not saying that David Lynch wasn’t great at his work or that I don’t love many of his creations. But I AM saying that he really seems to have struggled with writing women, and the treatment of women by male characters. Because Lynch’s women characters are not handled well.

Man, I am never moving on from RDJ’s accent in Natural Born Killers. Ours is a notoriously difficult accent to do and he didn’t even need to. The character was written American. He nails how we say ‘murdah’, not ‘murder’. He’s even got the lexical quirks of an Australian man raised in the 1960’s.
