Which this method is also SUPER ableist. The “call us everyday at opening to see if you can get in for an emergency appointment-!” Not all of us can drive. Trying to get dental care is so unnecessarily difficult. Back in October when I last got in, I was only let in because it was a same day emergency appointment. It’s the only way I can get dental care from the clinic that takes my insurance. I’ve been on their waiting list for over 4 years now.
