Bertie went to the vets yesterday for a renal check & see if we can do more for his neuro episodes. Kidneys are stable 💪 We're upping his brain meds, adding some supplements, & we've got some new meds to help settle him if he's having a bad episode. Also, he got 3 gravy bones 🦴🦴🦴! #SprogDogs

Mika noped on this morning's walk - I've never had a dog who refused walks before. But I guess she decided yesterday's woods visit would do her for a couple of days and it was a bit cold and grey out so she'd rather go back to bed. Ah well, Bert and I had fun just the two of us. #SprogDogs #Dogs

Usually the #sprogdogs have a trip to a private, secure woodland 3 or 4 times a month. But between storms and road closures, this was our first trip for 2025. It was cold and very muddy but at least the sun was out!

So they put FatBrian on the scale at the vet and he’s 7.5 kg. He let out a big meow and it went down to 7.4 kg. Meows weigh 0.1 kg. Science.

Bertie is having another neurological episode, 5 weeks on from the last. It seems quite mild so far - lots of pacing but quite well coordinated and minimal nystagmus. He's well enough to demand belly rubs at least! #sprogdogs #dogs
